Testimonials

Of course nobody posts bad references on their website or in their marketing material and we have been doing this work for long enough to know that you can’t please all your customers all the time – sometimes our customers just don’t understand the complexity of the process. However we are very confident we keep the vast majority of our clients happy the majority of the time.

Here are what some of them have taken the time to write to us and provide testimonials (there really are a lot more but modesty prevents us!). We will happily supply references to anyone who wants them. Among our major corporate clients over the years have been Deloitte, Touche & Tohmatsu, KPMG, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Microsoft, PA Consulting Group, Auckland City Council among other multi-nationals and major New Zealand companies and organisations.

We have even been approached by former Ministers of Immigration to join our practice.“You may be aware from the media that I have decided to take advantage of the profile I developed through my two years as Minister of Immigration. I have been approached by a couple of immigration consultants to see if I was interested in working with them. On reflection I do not think the people who have approached me are the ones I would like to go into business with. I will call you tomorrow to see whether or not you are interested in joining forces — with an ex-politician.”

We politely refused.

It was 31st May 2005 when we first got in touch with IMMagine Immigration following up an advert in the Singapore newspapers. Seems a long time ago. Rather a sweaty process, especially the last few days, but we're very pleased to have survived this far. Normally I wish time would slow down, but I'd be quite happy for the next three months to fly by so that we can complete the residency process and sign off on it. Of course we'd never have made it this far without you and your team. So many many thanks. I know, its what you get paid for, but it's a people business and more than most business deals with life changing events! Thanks again, and best wishes for Christmas and the coming year.

To say that IMMagine (in particular the amazing Paul & Iain) have changed our lives for the better is an understatement. Being young and employable, we weren't too nervous about our move from SA. My parents were, however, being 60 years old unable to enter the country on a standard W2R basis. The drama and the tears and the doubting of ourselves and our choices are but distant memories now. Now I get texts from my mom which say "Why did it take 61 years for this to happen? It feels wrong to feel so good!"

To all the doubters - firstly, New Zealand's the bizniz. Life here means life lived how it was intended - Sundays with 'fush & chups' on the beach, 60 Minutes on TV with intelligent news about the normal things people should care about, a society with a conscience and a collective-kind-heart, people who pick up their litter and take responsibility for their actions - it makes for a pleasant and rewarding change. Secondly, to IMMagine - no lip service. Paul & Iain are honest and upfront from the start and do nothing to fluff you up unnecessarily - but they work their amazing little butt's off on your behalf and I personally find the knowledge that they're "there" more comforting than I'd expected. I regularly thank them, because every day I'm reminded why we're here and each time I see the sun rising over the ocean from my bedroom window in "Brownsburg", my first thought is always "Am I really here?", which is inevitably followed in my mind with "Thank you IMMagine!" Does that sound corny? I don't care.

Also, Iain not-so-secretly loves Buzz Lightyear, a trait I thoroughly appreciate now I get to live my "infinity & beyond".

With an appreciation as timeless as our long white cloud! (and of course, a real personal love for you & all you've helped us to achieve)

Dear Iain and Myer

I am delighted to put in writing some words about the positive working relationship we have had with IMMagine Immigration. More especially the warm welcome we received from lain MacLeod and Myer Lipschitz when we first met, and the ongoing interactions that we have had with the IMMagine Immigration staff. The candidates that have been referred to us have been wonderful people and worthy of making a real contribution to New Zealand.

One candidate in particular that stands out in my mind, was so patient as he waited for a job offer of permanent employment. He could have given up hope of ever succeeding as he was pushed from one prospective employer to another. With the ever encouraging and professional help of IMMagine Immigration who recognised the skills that he had, we succeeded in placing him into employment thereby creating a win win result.

If ever we are in the position of referring new arrivals to get assistance to gain residency and work permits, we will have no hesitation in advising them to use your services. Thanks for working with us and we look forward to a continuing liaison.

Yours sincerely
Stephen Hofmann

Iain,

Dennis and I want to thank you for the most awesome service you have given us to date. We are astounded at the professionalism and continuous feedback/contact. The pack you couriered to us is fabulous. We realize that it is going to get tough and I am sure many of your clients have already given this kind of feedback, but with IMMagine Immigration as a partner, the journey is becoming more and more exciting and certainly is a smooth, organized process. IMMagine's support is a must for anybody immigrating!! I know we are only at the first stages of the journey, but wow, it certainly is an exciting one for us as a family.

Thanks to you and your team

Dear Iain, Myer and Rebecca

I lodged my application in May 2003 and received my permanent residency in August 2004. Rebecca was assigned to me and I have had the pleasure of working with her for that period. Throughout the process Rebecca was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Even though I asked the same questions over and over, and sought reassurance numerous times, she was never short or impatient. She kept me informed of my status and never once gave me false expectations. Even when it seemed certain I had been given PR, she said that it was only 99.9% certain, until the letter actually arrived. A number of South Africans have told me that they never used a consultant. What they don't tell you is the great strain it is to go through this process alone. I have heard of others who have had to go to London to sort things out.

The whole process has been confusing and frustrating, especially the constant rule changes. I am glad that your company could navigate me through that and have never once begrudged the fees I have paid. I got excellent service from IMMagine Immigration and from Rebecca in particular. I have already recommended your company to a number of people and will continue to do so. I now have a great job and am very happy in my new country.

Hi Myer and Kay,

I wanted to extend my thanks and appreciation to you both for the hard work you put into turning around my residency application at such good speed. Your honesty, kindness and dedication during the process was much appreciated.

R Pingyin

This was a case of reunifying parents from Zimbabwe with adult children. The case took just under two years and was completed January 2007. WHAT INCREDIBLE NEWS! Words cannot describe how thrilled we are and what we are feeling at this moment. We couldn't have asked for a better start to 2007.

Kay, thank you for your congratulations, your kind words, encouragement and help in all this.

Iain responded as follows:

You are very welcome. I am just sorry it took so long. Without wishing to sound arrogant I never doubted my advice (on the client's eligibility) was accurate and could be banked on but never in my wildest nightmares did I expect it would take so long to resolve and that the Department (of Immigration) could be so dumb as to question both of your health to the extent that they did. Anyway, we are just about there and I am pleased to have been part of the process.

This doesn't begin to describe the hoops these healthy people were put through (some expected but most immaterial to the case and unexpected based on policy settings) by the Department and only strong advocacy saved them from being declined residence.

We really appreciate...

Thankyou for sorting out Colin and my problems in getting into the country. We really appreciate it and could not have done it with out you.

Yesterday we saw the most beautiful sight...

Our residence visas!! Cant quite believe it. Thank you so much for all your help. Youve been really great and we both appreciate it.
