There are literally thousands of websites and online forums out there, that will attempt to provide you with answers to many of your questions without actually having to engage directly with you. The problem is sifting through mountains of information and opinions to find the answers relevant to you and then determining if it's accurate.

Many people claim to have a working knowledge of the immigration process although very few actually do. You could of course go directly to the source, the official Government immigration website but unless you know exactly where to look and what to look for, it could take you hours if not days to get the right answer. And frankly you cannot rely on immigration officials consistently or accurately interpreting their own rules.

IMMagine New Zealand have set up the Ask Us a Question facility in response to this and to provide a 'one-stop shop' for accurate immigration information. The service is designed for people who need quick access to accurate information, but don't want to trawl through the internet to find the answers. Most importantly your questions are answered by real people living in New Zealand who are licensed to provide this advice. Where necessary your questions will be researched based on up to date official sources and immigration criteria.

Accessing the information couldn't be easier - you simply register an account online and at the same time submit your question to one of our licensed advisors. Once an answer has been posted you will be notified by email. We guarantee to answer all questions within one business day. Each question you ask will cost NZD$15.00 ($17.25 including GST for those in New Zealand), which will be debited from the Credit Card you provide during the registration process. Your first question is charged during the registration process with subsequent questions being charged as you ask them. Our site uses secure payment systems and there is no regular or ongoing payment obligation.

You will need to ensure that your question is as specific as possible in order for us to be able to answer but we appreciate this can be difficult sometimes so we will assist you in attempting to refine your question three times. We also recommend you read the FAQ's and disclaimer pages once you have registered, which provides additional information on how the service works. You can also place feedback on the quality of the questions answered via the website.
